Located in Chinatown, Chung King Road is one of the main centers of art in Los Angeles. When the area was first developed, the buildings house Chinese shops and markets. Eventually, during the 1990s and early 2000s, many of the shops were converted into the art galleries that now line the pedestrian-only street.
